Welcome to my riding experience in Tennessee where the roads are open and traffic free. Let me introduce myself; my name is Don Hackford and I retired from the NYPD and moved to the Nashville Tennessee area where the experience of motorcycle riding is quite different than the NYC area affords.
Do you remember when your area offered the open road? When you were young and could go out for an enjoyable pleasure drive unencumbered by traffic?
No aggressive drivers, no pressure or road rage; just the open road and the luxury of a ride in the open clean air. Does this sound like a dream? Since moving to middle Tennessee, many of us have enjoyed frequent such rides on beautiful, well maintained roads, with little or no traffic.
With good weather year-round there are plenty of opportunities for a leisurely ride in the country. A chance to recapture that feeling you had in your youth before crowded roads became the norm.
